Just finished an absolutely fantastic meal at Fish Stop in Welling, and I couldn’t be happier! I ordered the classic fish and chips — perfectly crispy golden fish, thick-cut chips, served with ketchup and their delicious garlic sauce, plus a cold canned drink. The fish was flaky and fresh, the chips were hot and fluffy, and the sauces took it to the next level. The quality is top-notch, and it’s great value for money with generous portions. We ordered in advance for 27 people, on Saturday 25th October. We ordered, fish, chips, battered sausages, chicken, chicken bites, burgers, mushy peas and curry sauce. Everyone enjoyed their order and thought it was delicious. It was second to none. Thank you.

Lovely bit of fish and chips, freshly cooked, nice fish with light batter. Sadly there don't seem to be that many dine in fish n chip places left, so dining in made a nice change from takeaway fish n chips.

This is a first class fish and chip shop. The owner and the young lady serving were very friendly and welcoming. I used this establishment as I was in the area for a football match, Welling United v. Slough Town. The owner was chatting along to us and even wished my team got a good result!! I ordered a regular portion of chips along with 2 fish cakes. They were both cooked fresh, with a small wait of 4-5minutes. I had plenty of time so it didn’t matter to me. The chips were excellent, all good sizes and cooked to perfection. The breadcrumb coating on my fish cakes were also spot on, just enough crunch before they would be classed as overcooked. The cost was £6.50 which I think is a very fair price. You can also eat in as they have plenty of tables and seats. I would highly recommend a visit to Fish Stop if you’ve never been.
